Chimney cleaning includes mechanical brushing of surfaces and removal of dislodged soot and creosote; visual inspection from above and below of flue tiles, mortar joints and bricks, (or Class A chimney and pipes); inspection and testing of all related components (i.e., cap, damper, doors, and screens); inspection of chimney crown, slab cap, chase cover, and flashing when present.
