| Greg Hall started his first service business in NY at age 14, charging $5 to clear driveways with a snowblower. After graduating from WCU with a BS in Business Administration, he launched a whitewater rafting and chimney sweeping business with his best friend Jimmy. After 2 years, the businesses grew and Jimmy took over the rafting company and Greg headed the chimney work. At that time (1979) it cost $35 for a chimney cleaning. Since then, he's cleaned more than 15,000 chimneys and relined and repaired over 1000, including the 90-foot chimney at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville. After many years as a whitewater kayaker, Greg turned to flying airplanes and is currently working on getting an instrument rating for his 4-seat Piper Cherokee. |
